Hello and welcome! I’m Charmie Bhayani — a former interior designer, now a full-time mother and passionate author, based in Dubai.
Though life has taken me across many places — from being born and raised in Oman, to studying in India and Germany, and finally finding a home in the UAE — one thing has always remained constant: my love for words.
🎓 From Design to Dreams
I completed my Bachelor’s in Interior Design from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, in 2009. It was during those vibrant university years that I first discovered the joy of writing. Poetry became my way of expressing feelings I couldn’t say out loud — thoughts that only found life through rhythm and rhyme.
CEPT didn’t just teach me design; it awakened my creativity in every form.

After my marriage in 2016, life brought with it new roles and responsibilities. Motherhood became my world — a full-time job with no breaks, yet endless rewards. But in the quiet moments between raising my child and rediscovering myself, a long-held dream began to take shape: writing my first novel.
That’s how Live In A Dream was born — a story I nurtured for years, pouring into it everything I’ve felt, experienced, and imagined.
It’s not just a book. It’s a piece of me.
